Description
All you have to provide is a few volunteers to help at registration table to pass out chips, direct the finishers at the finish line and cut off wire ties to retrieve the timing chips. Prior to race date we will work out how to get pre-registeredinformation and awards setup information. Timing tracks all app usage on your Mac. But not only that — it can also detect when you have stopped using your Mac and pause the time logger accordingly. And once you return to your Mac, it can even ask you what you did, so you'll never forget time spent e.g.
Race Monitor gives racers and spectators alike, the ability to view live timing data from MyLaps timing system's via the RMonitor protocol.
With Race Monitor, you can view racer lap times as they occur, and sort by race position or qualifying position.
Additional features including the ability to review unofficial results, a Heads Up Display for racers (includes historical lap times), and Racer Alerts to let you know when a racer you're following goes on track.
** Race Monitor requires that you are able to connect to the RMonitor server provided by the track, either via the track's wireless network, or the internet if the track makes timing available over the internet. **

Good, but crashes in macOS High Sierra
Like many of the other reviewers, I bought this after getting the iOS version. It has been great, except that after I installed macOS 10.13, it started crashing frequently. I usually follow oval track races, and Race Monitor tends to crash just as a new session is started. I hope the developers can resolve this problem and issue an update soon.
Works same as iOS app for me - no crashing
I was afraid to buy it from the last review, but it hasn’t crashed once and seems just like the phone app.

the phone and ipad apps work great, mac version crashes constantly when clicking any of the menu items. Latest version reported as fixed crashing bug, yeah, not true - I want my money back!

It all started in 2003 as a hobby when Pablo developed a software for the classification of events for Open Water ClasificARG. It was so successful that after 2005 – with the support and vision of Pedro – Pablo and his cousins Andrés and Ernesto designed the software to create the MM System, the first timing system for RFID (LF).
One success led to another and team members came and went. In 2007 we started to experiment with UHF technology for timing and in 2008 we were one of the first companies in the world to launch a UHF timing system and disposable chips.
We continue to gain experience event by event. At the end of 2012, after gaining experience at Google in Ireland, Fede, a friend and partner of Pablo’s swimming team since the age of 13, joined the Macsha team. Fede began to establish the office in Barcelona and to expand the brand in Europe.

In 2018, Macsha releases its equipment so you can use it with the chip you want. For those who wish to continue taking advantage of the Macsha Chips, we invite you to join the MACSHA CLUB.
Today, the whole Macsha team has been reunited in Barcelona under the same roof. From here, we continue making history.

•Log in to ReplyAfter using a “big brand” timing system for 5 years, I was looking for a system that had cheaper per chip fees, had a long lasting battery, and simple networking features that would allow for live results locally and online. After researching through available timing systems in the market, Macsha was a perfect fit for us with the One4All5. For 4 years, we have successfully used Macsha to time running, cycling, triathlon, and obstacle races. Their new foldable antennas have made race day setup a lot simpler plus we are receiving the best read rates I’ve ever seen, usually 100% using two timing lines at each point and only one chip. Each timing system has a built in router for local networking, easy to setup, and a battery that lasts up to 18 hours reading! Myself and our other timers absolutely love Macsha’s One4All5 systems and are never looking back.
