   I have worms in my face and I have been treated for a serious infection that they caused. The lesions won't heal because they are continously coming through them and they laying on the outer edges of the wounds. The infection has cleared up except for the on my upper lip and the skin above it. They are very painful, especially on my lip because they get on the outer edges and bury themselves into my skin. They feel like they are biting down and won't let go. I now have them up my nose, inside my gums and the roof of my mouth is constantly hurting along with my teeth. When I brush them I always have to spit out several of them. I've developed a small cough along with some wheezing once in a while. I also have diarrhea, sometimes almost black. I already have chronic iron deficiency anemia and malnutrition due to gastric bypass surgery I had in May of 2003 and had recently started trying to treat it before this happened. Can you please give me any advice or information on how to treat this condition? Thank you

    Yesterday I went to pathology lab for giving my blood sample. The health care person first checked my test document then he wrapped bandage around my arm. Thereafter he checked both my arms by touching them and finally choose right arm for drawing blood. Then he took a fresh needle sanitized my skin. Before injecting the needle he again touched my skin with his fingers. After that he injected the needle. While injecting the needle some blood (I guess 2 drops) came out from the point of injection and spread on my skin where he touched me before injecting the needle. Is it possible that he had blood strains of previous patient on his fingers and when he touched my skin before injecting the needle the blood might remain on my skin and when my blood drops touched them I became infected by HIV. Is transmission of HIV is possible in this way. Please help me

12. i need some advice asap! i have my tubes tied (3 years ago) & haven't gotten my period in over three months. i have health issues such as fibromyalgia and 'developing lupus', i strongly believe those have nothing to do with what's going on but i wanted to throw that out there.

    lately, for the passed week or two, i've been having gradual pain during and especially after sex. i have strong constant period like cramps or discomfort but after sex i will feel super sharp pains almost as if my uterus is contracting from sex and each contraction makes me scream out in pain,but then it's done until the next contraction 30 seconds later. this will last up to two hours, also.

    i feel discomfort and pain when my bladder is full or when i eat, as well.

    now on top of all of this, i've been having really bad hot flashes that cause my feet to feel like they're on FIRE and even turn beat red. it interferes with sleep which in turn is affecting life in general with two young toddlers.

    & the last symptom i can really notice is that i'm very weak and faint. sometimes so faint i feel almost trembly and i shake a little

13. I had been with my partner for 3 years and we have never been pregnant. This year will be the fourth and I'm finally pregnant. But I had unprotected sex with a guy on the 6/12/15 and then the next day I continued to have sex with my partner right up untill now. 17. For the past few months, I've noticed my upper left abdomen just below my rib cage almost feel slightly swollen at times. Particularly when I drink caffeine or eat a big meal, it almost feels like it's ballooning out. Often times I feel nothing at all. Then out of the blue, just around that area, it will start to feel itchy with no signs of redness on the skin. I went and got an ultra sound, but nothing turned up. I still continued to notice it and I'm beginning to worry that it could be something more.

    What could cause this swelling and itching? It is only isolated to the upper left part of my abdomen. I've already gotten blood tests and an ultrasound.

    • Hi, Alexandra. I am not a doctor. I decided to answer you because I see that no one has answered. So I think that unprofessional advice is better than none. First of all you should take a chest X-ray. It is absolutely necessary for all patients with such symptoms. I understand your fear and guess that you are most afraid of lung cancer. I can tell you that there are a lot of reasons which can cause coughing up blood. They include bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, cancer and a lot of others. No one could tell you without thorough examination. Considering your young age, I don't think that lung cancer would be the most likely reason of your problem. 90% cases of lung cancer occur in patients older than 50 years. And you are only 26. So don't be afraid. But also you should understand that your problem requires going to your physician. Don't put it off. My father who is a heavy smoker had such problems twice in his life. First time it was caused by pneumonia. The second time etiology wasn't completely clear but it certainly wasn't neither cancer nor tuberculosis.

The ct scan did confirm swollen nodes. I have taken a seven day supply of antibiotics and my doctor says we have to wait and see. It has been a month since ct scan and still no improvements. I'm am a 65 year old white male, I take crestor 20, clopidogrel 75 and lisinopril 10 daily with a 325 aspirin and a daily multiple vitamin. I have discontinued my medicines for a week and this did nothing to help. What do you suggest I do. I might add the change in stool is harder and larger and this started before the antibiotics.
