Hello,

This issue may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or corrupt or if your PC requires an update for issues that may conflict with a USB device and Windows. Itools for windows 10.

This file contains the latest drivers for the Montego A3DXstream PCI sound card, operating under Windows 95/98/NT. This package offers improved support for Cyrix, AMD, and Pentium Pro processors. Improve your desktop's audio output for digital music, DVDs and gaming with the Riviera sound card from Turtle Beach. Analog audio outputs for up to 5.1-channel sound systems are built into the board along with an optical digital S/PDIF output for pass-through of Dolby Digital and DTS multi-channel DVD sound. Windows ME had limited support for the Montego II card, and at one time, the only good ones I'm aware of were only available from a 3rd party source, which has since ceased operation. You might be able to get away with the ones from Turtle Beach at the link below, but it may depend on your particular card. Turtle Beach Sound Cards & Voyetra Software 32-bit & 64-bit drivers for Windows 7 and Windows Vista are available for the following products: AAMicro, AAMicro II, AAAmigo, AASRM, AK. I then installed the latest driver from Turtle Beach for the Santa Cruz card (they stopped making new drivers for this card after XP), the file was called sc4193. After installing, in Device Manager it looked like it installed properly but still not receiving sound. I just wanted to point out that Turtle Beach has finally released drivers for 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Vista, which support Montego DDL. They are all available as a free download in the Support area of Turtle Beach's web site. So this sound card now can have a new life in your upgraded or newly built 64-bit desktop.

Let us try the following steps, and check if it helps.

Step 1: Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Drivers

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your mouse.

Refer these steps:

  1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
  3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
  4. Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Step 2: Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.
1. Press Windows + X keys, click Device Manager.
2. In the list of hardware categories, find and expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
3. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controller’s node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
4. Restart the computer, and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
